When you use the BetterPrice Chrome extension, it reads product information from the pages you visit (product title, price, URL) in order to find cheaper alternatives on Amazon. This data is sent to our servers to power price comparisons. We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or payment details. We do not track your browsing history beyond the product pages where you actively use the extension.
How We Use Your Data
Product data collected by the extension is used to (1) find matching products on Amazon, (2) display price comparison results to you, and (3) build our database of price comparisons that powers the betterprice.io website. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our matching algorithms and website.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Product comparison data may be displayed publicly on betterprice.io/compare pages (showing the store URL, product name, and prices). We do not include any personally identifying information in these public pages. We use Supabase for data storage, which is subject to their own privacy policy.

BetterPrice.io participates in the Amazon Associates affiliate program. When you click an Amazon link on our site or extension, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the service free.
Cookies
